For many of you, this is your first experience with an online studying. Online courses provide a different way to study and place different skills from students. You will find that, as an online learner, self-motivation and discipline are paramount.
You will have an access to the course site till the course is published. Your class material is accessible the moment your payment is processed. After completion the course you can review the material of it at any time you desire.
A discussion is opened for each lesson. Please use Class Discussion Forum instead of instructor’s e-mail for your general questions. Post your question at any time.

The on-line class “The Art of Petit Point” is designed to help you to learn about Petit Point, its stitches, techniques of stitching on silk gauze, starting and finishing the thread, etc. There is no project to finish in this class, but it is a hands-on workshop where you can practice 3 stitches of the family of Tent stitches.
This class is intended to show basic methods and introduce the techniques of stitching on silk gauze that are used successfully. However, do not hesitate to be creative and try things on your own. Sooner or later you will find the ways to finish a Petit Point on silk gauze that work just for you.
Hopefully, you will be inspired to try a few different projects in Petit Point you may have thought difficult. Materials used in the class are all readily available through on-line stores or local brick and mortar needlework shops.
It is a shame to put hours and hours of work, and your precious money into something, and have it less than perfect. This class is organized to help make your work as close to perfect as possible.
